BASD Students Decorate Tree for Victorian Christmas Celebration

Information provided by Mrs. Drake and Mrs. Keys.

Chain Reaction to Kindness

What if...one person did one kind act for another, then that person did one kind act for another, then that person did one kind act for another person, therefore creating a "Chain Reaction to Kindness".  Brookville Area School District students have been reporting their kind acts, therefore creating this sample of our very own "Chain Reaction to Kindness".

Friends of Rachel Club members are promoting kind acts within the school and community while share the quotes of Rachel Joy Scott, a victim of the shooting a Columbine High School.

Brookville Area School District K-12 students created decorations and decorated a tree for Christmas Tree Lane as a part of this year's Brookville Victorian Christmas celebration.  The theme of the tree is "Chain Reaction to Kindness" and was promoted by Friends of Rachel Club members.

The tree features chain links representing kind acts performed by Brookville High School and Hickory Grove Elementary students.  There are hands and hearts representing kind acts from students at Northside Elementary and Pinecreek Elementary.  There are also hands representing the five challenges that Rachel's message promotes, along with hearts with quotes from Rachel about kindness.
