LOVE & LIMITS - Navigating the Teen Years:  A Guide to Success

A FREE program to help prepare all 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade families for the transition to middle school and the teen years.  The program consists of 7 interactive sessions over 7 consecutive weeks.  The evening begins with a FREE sit down family meal and conversation (4:00pm - 4:30pm).  During the next hour, adults and youth meet separately, but work on the same skills.  The last hour is spent together as youth and parents/caregivers practice skills, play games, and do family projects as each learns about the love and limits involved in working through this sometimes difficult transition.  FREE CHILDCARE WILL BE PROVIDED for younger siblings.  Each family will receive a $15.00 gift card for Sheetz following each week of attendance.  Contact Kristen Drake at (814) 849-1112 for more details and a registration form.

This program is for parents of children from birth to 8 years old.  During the program there will be snacks and free childcare provided.  This is an opportunity to meet other parents and talk about the struggles of raising children.   The program begins March 11th at the Hickory Grove Elementary School Library from 3:30pm to 5:30pm.  Contact Michele Confer at (814) 849-1115 for more details and a registration form.
