Brookville students participated in Senator Cris Dush's annual "Senator for a Day" event held at Commonwealth University. Delegates spent the morning in various committees crafting and debating bills touching on topics like cell phones and AI. As Justice Sandra Day O'Connor once said, "The practice of democracy is not passed down through the gene pool. It must be taught and learned anew by each generation of citizens."
