Every year around this time, sixth grade goes back to 1903. After researching a character with a home country and language, students seek admission to America. At Ellis Island, the young immigrants are met by processors who ask them about their origins and destinations. If they pass these inspections, they can sign a loyalty oath and enter the United States. From left, Drew Miller, Mia Zimmerman and Rebecca Peters are questioned by Amy Guth, Chris Headle and Michelle Miller. Thanks to all of our volunteers and event organizer Jena Bish!
